Studded Tubes

LP SpA’s studded tubes are essential components for the radiant sections of Fired Heaters and for all applications involving highly fouling, erosive fluids, or severe combustion conditions.

Our production process utilizes CNC-controlled machinery for automatic electrical resistance welding. This technology ensures a superior quality forged bond between the cylindrical stud and the base tube: the fusion is deep, uniform, and filler-metal-free, guaranteeing optimal thermal conductivity and unsurpassed mechanical strength. In addition to drastically expanding the heat exchange surface (up to 3 times compared to a bare tube), the studs act as a protective shield against erosion and corrosion, significantly extending the component’s operational life in hostile environments.
